No matter how hard you try, keeping a clean car can be a tremendous challenge. Though well-meant rules prohibiting food, drinks, and cigarettes from coming within 10 feet of your vehicle may last for a week or two, these rules are highly difficult to maintain given the fast-pace of today’s lifestyle. People often need to eat or drink in their cars while traveling, and though food wrappers and old cups are a large problem for many people they aren’t the only things that clutter the inside of your vehicle.

1. Always take everything with you when you get out of the car.
